Brave Conversations on Death & Dying

Thursday, January 256:00—7:30 PMLarge Meeting RoomHamilton-Wenham Public Library14 Union Street, South Hamilton, MA, 01982

We tend to avoid conversations on death, dying, & grief - and yet, we are all moving through the cycle of life. Join death doula, end of life celebrant, and expressive artist Bianca Staudt in destigmatizing conversations on death & dying, and explore how we can connect even in the face of uncomfortable topics. Our time together will include debunking common myths of end of life, brief exploration of how to think about death at any stage of life, creative sharing, and suggestions for where to turn for additional resources.

Bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a notebook/journal if you’d like.

About the presenter: Bianca Staudt has a Masters degree in Social Work & a Bachelor's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, as well as certifications as a death doula, funeral/memorial celebrant, and yoga instructor. She is passionate about her work, which is  an integration of arts, presence, and love for our essential nature. Bianca is involved in ongoing trainings in ethical and creative practices. Some additional trainings include trauma-informed mindfulness/yoga, process-oriented arts, grief, dreamwork, sandplay, and more.

This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library.
