FANTOS is our 2025 relaunch of the Speculative Fiction Book Club, meeting on the second Tuesday of each month.  Speculative Fiction is an umbrella term for stories in the broadly fantastic realms of Alternate History, Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi, Magical Realism, etc.  Titles are chosen through a mediated nomination and voting process.  Meetings will be in the Phoenix Room unless we are just so cool that we need more space.  Contact Head of Reference Sarah Lauderdale (slauderdale@hwlibrary.org, 978-468-5577 x619) with any questions.

***We are getting ready to vote on next year's reading!  Email slauderdale@hwlibrary.org with your suggested titles in a FANTASTIC vein, ie. Speculative Fiction books that you would like to read and discuss.***  Suggestions will be accepted up through our  Thurs. Nov.  13th meeting, so if you want to make recommendations in person, that works too.  Haven't attended any book discussions yet but interested in doing so?  You can still email slauderdale@hwlibrary.org to request a ballot.  Sarah will vet/consolidate suggestions and send everyone a finalized ballot to vote on after the Nov. 13th meeting.
